Last Minute Fall or Spring Trips
A lot of people head to St. George and Disneyland for fall break, but here are some outdoorsy and hopefully less crowded options.
Escalante National Park
Check out some amazing slot canyons, or if that’s too claustrophobic explore Willis Creek Narrows. Play around on the hoodoos at Devil’s garden and stay in a cave hotel. Hike to a waterfall and swimming hole and eat one of the best enchiladas of your life. Escalante is awesome and its not too crowded and It’s only 4.5 hrs from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Kanab, Utah
Kanab has caves to explore and slot canyons as well as sand dunes and the infamous wave. It is only 4.5 hrs from Salt Lake, and you can add Bryce Canyon to your trip, its only a 1.5 hr away.
Moab and Canyonlands
Moab has Arches National Park, swimming holes, rafting and some great restaurants. Here are my favorite Moab things to do and my favorite hikes in Arches. If Arches is sold out or you have time visit Canyonlands. These are my favorite things to see there.
